Energy renovation of the house of Taieb Al-Mhiri Football Stadium maintenance manager.
The municipality of Sfax renovated the house of Taieb Al-Mhiri Football Stadium maintenance manager in Sfax, in 2015. This Single Family House - detached (villa) comprises 2 floors and has in total a built-up area of 211 m². The villa comprises two distinct parts: the first, constructed in 1990, and the second a more recent addition. The two parts of the building were constructed using different materials. The main measures implemented to save energy are thermal insulation of the roof and exterior walls, installation of new double glazed PVC windows, window shades, new energy efficient lamps, new energy efficient split ACs, new energy efficient refrigerator, a solar water heater, a grid-connected PV system, and an energy management system. These measures resulted in annual energy savings of around 70%.
