BUILD_ME joins the lineup of events for Net Zero Buildings Week

In line with Net Zero Buildings Week, taking place from 16 -20 September, BUILD_ME is pleased to announce an upcoming webinar titled, “Prelaunch of BUILD_ME’s Study: Defining the Zero Emission Buildings standard for the MENA region focusing on Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.” This virtual event will support partnerships and collaboration across the built environment industry to collectively advance net zero buildings.

Net Zero Buildings Week, hosted by the New Buildings Institute, is a significant event that brings together climate leaders from around the world to transform the built environment, aiming to cut emissions and provide healthy, safe, and resilient buildings for everyone. This week-long event is an opportunity to witness the meaningful progress being made, spark new ideas, share resources, and expand the impact of Net Zero Buildings.

The webinar will provide a brief introduction to the BUILD_ME project, followed by an illustration of the initial findings from the nearly-completed study on the, “Defining the Zero Emission Buildings standard for the MENA region focusing on Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.” The main focus will be on the applied methodology, which is based on the cost optimality approach. Participants will also be presented with the first results from Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. The session will conclude with a short discussion, encouraging audience participation.
